And I was at TribalCon and could tell when you spoke that you were about to implode from having to live both lives---so I think this is great news! And yes, it is scary at this moment. But just know that with what reduced income I have in the future, I plan to support dancers like you. Congratulations, woman. This is incredibly helpful to read. I'm very lucky to work on the same campus with Becca. Almost every lunch (except during field season) we get together to work on new stuff, practice, work on troupe business stuff. Your blog is definitely one of my biggest inspirations to keep dancing. Being a teenage oriental/fusion dancer is really hard but I love it. It's just really hard for me to tell people my age I'm a dancer because I always get really immature reactions about it. Sometimes I even want to just throw in the towel but it's hard to think about my future without dancing. Anyway, good luck!
